Foundry Technician


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foundry Technician to join our team in Eldoret. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring the quality of castings. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in foundry operations
- Knowledge of casting techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to work in a demanding production environment

Responsibilities:
- Operate foundry equipment such as furnaces, molds, and sand mixers
- Monitor the casting process to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow technical instructions for melting, pouring, and solidifying metals
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate with team members to address any issues or concerns
- Keep accurate records of production data and materials used

Salary: 1000$ per month
