Job Title: Formwork Specialist

As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling temporary structures used to support concrete during the construction process. This includes creating molds, pouring concrete, and ensuring the proper placement and alignment of formwork. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that formwork is built according to specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble formwork for various types of structures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Pour concrete into formwork and smooth surfaces using hand or power tools
- Install braces, ties, or other supports as needed
- Ensure proper alignment and stability of formwork
- Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments to protect formwork from elements
- Communicate with project team to address any issues or concerns related to formwork
- Adhere to all safety regulations on construction sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems (e.g. traditional timber or modular systems)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Good physical stamina and strength for lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Basic understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards
- Biometric passport required for international travel
- Valid driver's license preferred
