Job Title: Merchandiser (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data and identify trends to inform merchandising strategies
- Create and implement effective product displays and promotions
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, purchasing, and sales to develop cohesive merchandising plans
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry changes
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and maintain positive relationships
- Travel to various locations as needed to oversee merchandising execution

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior is a plus
- Must be open to travel as needed
