Carpenter

We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Nakuru. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You must have experience in carpentry and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires physical strength and the ability to use tools and equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood or other materials such as drywall and fiberglass
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, counters, cabinets, doors etc.
- Inspect structures to ensure they are up to code and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on projects
- Operate hand and power tools safely

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using carpentry tools safely
- Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail with good measuring skills
- Good communication skills for working with others on projects

Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in commercial or residential construction projects
- Certification in carpentry or related field
- Good time management skills

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nakuru
