Database Administrator (DBA)


Our company is a leading technology firm in Vejle, seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our databases. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement security measures to protect data
- Backup and restore data as needed
- Develop and maintain database documentation
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure database compatibility with applications
- Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in database management

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with data backup, recovery and security protocols
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Java or Python
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
