Junior DevOps Developer

We are hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Developer to join our team in Roskilde. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our software infrastructure to support the continuous integration and delivery of our applications. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in the field of DevOps. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development, cloud computing, and automation tools. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers to understand project requirements and design appropriate infrastructure solutions
- Develop and maintain automated deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats
- Continuously improve processes through automation and innovation
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of cloud computing principles (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, Travis CI)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies

Salary: 1700$ per month
