Malayalee Teacher (Contract)


We are currently seeking a Malayalee teacher to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Malayalam and have experience teaching primary or secondary school students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to the needs of Malayalee students
- Teach various subjects, such as math, science, social studies, and language arts
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment for students to learn and grow
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior

Requirements:
- Must be a native speaker of Malayalam
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
- Prior teaching experience preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:
- This is a contract position without accommodation provided
- Working hours are Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm with breaks for lunch and recess
- The school follows the Kenyan academic calendar, with breaks for holidays and term breaks
