CNC Operator in Nairobi, Kenya



We are currently hiring a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform precision machining operations on various materials. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of 900$ per month with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity for operating machines
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with biometric passports or similar security documents is a plus
- Basic understanding of G-code programming
- Proficiency in using computer software for designing or programming
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in CNC machining
