. Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager for our luxury hotel in Akron, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue by developing and implementing effective sales strategies. You will work closely with the hotel's management team to identify potential business opportunities and establish relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue goals
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and competitor activities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to create attractive packages and promotions
- Attend industry events and network to generate leads and promote the hotel
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and potential risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards success
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems (e.g. Opera) is a plus
