Junior Data Mining Analyst



As a Junior Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends in order to make informed business decisions. You will work closely with senior analysts and management to understand project objectives and develop data mining strategies. Your main duties will include data collection, cleaning, and processing using various software tools. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the development of predictive models and algorithms. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Prior experience or coursework in data mining or analytics is a plus
