Cashier for Busy Retail Store in Copenhagen


We have an immediate need for a highly skilled and customer service-oriented Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Copenhagen. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately handling cash and credit transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided, suitable for women who are looking to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Accurately process cash and credit transactions using point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies
- Assist customers with product inquiries and locating items within the store
- Ensure all merchandise is properly priced and displayed on the sales floor
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Follow all safety procedures when handling cash and credit transactions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail or customer service is a plus
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mathematical skills; ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 900$ per week for this contract position.
