Office Manager - Mombasa, Kenya
We are a busy and growing office in need of an experienced Office Manager to oversee our daily operations. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all administrative and organizational tasks within the office. You will also be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective communication between departments, as well as managing office supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all administrative tasks in the office
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Train and supervise administrative staff
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Address any issues or concerns from employees in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise staff
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
