Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operations of our high-end restaurant in Odense. You will work closely with the management team to create and maintain a unique and exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a seasonal position suitable for recent graduates with a passion for gastronomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute menu items that showcase creativity, quality, and seasonal ingredients
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency and high standards of food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with management team on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
- Stay up-to-date on emerging food trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that meet customer expectations
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in menu costing, inventory management, and budgeting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1100 per week
Note: This is a seasonal job without accommodation provided. Preference will be given to candidates who are legally authorized to work in Odense.
