A well-established retail company in Eldoret is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team. This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per month. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in merchandising and will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed and presented in an appealing way to attract customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A valid work permit and free visa will be provided for foreigners.

Responsibilities:
- Create attractive displays of merchandise to increase sales and attract customers
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment
- Collaborate with store management to develop merchandising strategies that align with company goals
- Conduct regular store walkthroughs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Train new employees on merchandising techniques and standards
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and visual presentation standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of retail operations and merchandising techniques
- Experience working with inventory management systems is preferred
- Must have a valid work permit for Kenya or be able to obtain one upon hiring
