Land Surveyor
As a land surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the exact location, boundaries, and elevation of land or water features. You will use specialized equipment and techniques to measure and collect data on the terrain, structures, and other physical features of a site. You will also prepare reports, maps, and plans based on your findings. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in land surveying and possess a degree in surveying or a related field. This position offers a salary of $1300 per month and is located in Horsens. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own visa to work in the country.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of land or water features using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Collect data on terrain, structures, boundaries, and other physical features of a site
- Analyze data using computer software to create maps, plans, and reports
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate measurements for construction projects
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of surveys and data collected
- Communicate findings effectively through written reports or presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Previous experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques
- Proficient with specialized equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers
