Junior Network and Systems Administrator (Roskilde, Denmark)


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As a vital member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our network and systems to ensure efficient and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Perform regular backups and updates of servers and systems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for various applications
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement system upgrades or new installations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in networking technology to continuously improve our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN technologies, routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Experience with Active Directory management is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this entry-level position. In addition, we provide accommodation for non-local candidates if needed.
