Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Las Vegas
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our Indian restaurant in Las Vegas. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant and possess a strong understanding of traditional Indian cuisine. Fluency in Hindi or Punjabi is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are served
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
Salary: $1100 per week
Location: Las Vegas (Relocation assistance available)
