Head Chef at Fine Dining Restaurant in Roskilde, Denmark
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our team at a fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Roskilde, Denmark. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing an innovative and high-quality menu that showcases the best of Danish cuisine. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to lead and motivate a team will be crucial in maintaining our restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that incorporate local ingredients and showcase Danish culinary traditions
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service for guests
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest ingredients
- Stay updated on food trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience/training
- Strong knowledge of Danish cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning and execution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluency in English (Danish language skills preferred)
Salary: 1300$ per month
Location: Roskilde, Denmark (open to all nationalities)
