Blast Furnace Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace, which is used to produce molten iron from iron ore. This involves monitoring and adjusting equipment settings, analyzing data from sensors, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Blast Furnace Operator and possess strong technical skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional training or certifications in metallurgy or related fields is preferred. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment and follow strict safety procedures is essential. This position may require occasional overtime or weekend work. Accommodation may be provided for employees who do not live in Nairobi. Canadian or Nepali citizenship is preferred but not required for this role.
