PHP Developer (Contract)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer to join our team in Lisbon on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications using PHP and MySQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles and experience working with Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP and MySQL
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PHP Developer
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks
- Familiarity with agile methodology
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on e-commerce websites
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or AngularJS
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git or Jenkins
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services
