Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our design and development teams to bring innovative ideas to life and ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users and provide timely solutions
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by conducting thorough testing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android development
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cross-platform development tools such as React Native or Flutter
- Familiarity with Firebase or other cloud-based technologies for mobile development
- Knowledge of Git version control system

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month. Other benefits include accommodation assistance and visa sponsorship for non-Faroese applicants.
