Electrician - Maintenance & Repair Technician



We are searching for an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Maintenance & Repair Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment according to safety codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using various testing equipment
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning
- Coordinate with other team members to complete projects within established timelines
- Keep accurate records of all work performed including materials used and time spent on each project
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in electrical codes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician in a maintenance or repair role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Certification or degree in Electrical Technology or related field
- Experience working with renewable energy systems
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Bilingual in English and Faroese

Salary: 1500$ per month
