Electrician - Al-Khor, Qatar

We are currently hiring an experienced Electrician to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This includes wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential settings and possess a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Identify electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Follow blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine the location of outlets, circuits, panels, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Upgrade existing electrical systems to meet current safety standards
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrician in both commercial and residential settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Biometric passport required for visa processing
