Senior Instrument Technician


We are hiring a Senior Instrument Technician to join our team in Braga, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of instrumentation and possess strong technical knowledge and skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month, and accommodation will be provided. Candidates with a biometric passport will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation systems
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while working with potentially hazardous materials
- Keep detailed records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to management
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in the field of instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read schematic diagrams and technical manuals
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment for calibration and testing purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have a biometric passport for international travel if required
