We are a welding company based in Svalbard and we are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks according to project specifications. This is a part-time position with competitive salary of 1200$ per month. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in welding and must be willing to work with a visa sponsorship if necessary. This is an urgent job opportunity, so candidates who are available immediately will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other technical drawings
- Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored
- Select appropriate materials for each project and ensure proper preparation of surfaces for welding
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Willingness to work with visa sponsorship if necessary
- Availability to work on an urgent basis
