Pastry Chef - Aarhus, Denmark
As a Pastry Chef at our high-end restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for baking. We are seeking a skilled and experienced pastry chef who can bring new and exciting flavors to our menu while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and create a variety of pastries, desserts and other baked goods for our restaurant
- Develop new recipes and enhance existing ones to keep our menu fresh and innovative
- Ensure all pastries are made with the freshest ingredients and meet the highest quality standards
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff on pastry preparation techniques
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and equipment, ensuring proper ordering and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety standards
- Ability to create unique flavor combinations while also executing classic pastries with precision
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in product quality
- Diploma from a culinary school or equivalent work experience
