Pastry Chef in Aarhus
A renowned restaurant in the beautiful city of Aarhus is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of sweet and savory pastries, desserts, and breads. Your role will also involve managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing desserts
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Passion for experimenting with new flavors and designs
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus for pastries, desserts, and breads based on seasonal ingredients
- Create new recipes while also adhering to existing ones
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, creams, etc.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques (piping, glazing, etc.)
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure all food safety standards are met in the pastry kitchen
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1000 per month. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about baking and has a keen eye for detail.
