We are currently seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Eschen, Liechtenstein. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's database systems. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$, and we are looking for candidates with experience in database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software and related tools
- Monitor database performance and proactively optimize system resources
- Troubleshoot issues with the database system and provide timely resolutions
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for the database
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls
- Work closely with developers to design efficient databases that meet business requirements
- Create data reports as needed by various departments within the company

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in database administration
- Knowledge of SQL language and relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery procedures, and data security measures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Database Administration (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra
