Hotel Sales Manager

A reputable hotel in Bungoma is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join their team. This full-time position offers a salary of 1600$, along with accommodation. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue them through various sales techniques
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences
- Create attractive packages and promotions to drive sales and increase occupancy rates
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing reports and recommendations to management

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using sales software and Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Marketing, or Business Administration
- Knowledge of local tourism market trends and legislation related to the hospitality industry
