Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our team in Funchal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. The ideal candidate should have a degree or certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related field. Previous experience is not required but preferred. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month. Candidates must have their own visa and accommodation arrangements in place.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality
- Document all work performed in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Keep updated with industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology

Requirements:
- Degree or certification in Instrumentation Technology or related field
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Funchal. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm. Occasional overtime may be required for urgent projects. The salary for this position is 1400$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
