Female Librarian


We are searching for a knowledgeable and dedicated Female Librarian to join our team at a public library in the bustling city of Karachi. As a Female Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials, as well as assisting patrons with research and locating resources.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of library systems and cataloging methods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the library's collection by selecting, ordering, and cataloging materials
- Assist patrons with locating resources and conducting research
- Organize and maintain the library's physical space, ensuring books are properly shelved and displays are updated regularly
- Manage circulation of materials including checking out books, collecting fines, and processing returns
- Plan and implement events such as book clubs or author readings to promote literacy and engage the community
