We are searching for a driven and results-oriented Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Os, Norway. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue. In this role, you will work closely with the hotel management team to identify target markets and develop marketing plans to reach potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify potential target markets and develop marketing plans to reach new customers
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other key partners to drive business
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to create attractive packages and promotions
- Monitor competition in the market and adjust strategies accordingly
- Train and supervise the sales team to ensure they are meeting goals and objectives
- Prepare regular sales reports for management
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of local market trends is preferred
