QA Engineer - Faro, Portugal (Contract)



We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Faro, Portugal on a contract basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing on software products to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues
- Develop test cases and plans based on project requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and designers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Work closely with the development team to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions
- Monitor and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Report test results to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to maintain product quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a QA Engineer or in software testing is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively report test results

Compensation:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1700$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
