Cashier for Busy Retail Store

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our busy retail store in Jerusalem. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash and credit transactions, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have previous cashier experience, strong math skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate pricing and inventory records
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent theft or loss of merchandise
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining visual displays
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills for operating cash registers and inventory systems
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

This job is open to candidates of Egyptian or Nepali nationality who are legally authorized to work in Israel. No English language proficiency is required for this position.
