Part-Time Concierge in Funchal



We are in search of a part-time concierge to join our team at a luxury hotel in the beautiful city of Funchal. As a concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions
- Make recommendations and reservations for dining, transportation, and activities
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions for guest services such as laundry, room service, or tours
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Assist with luggage handling when needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
As a part-time employee, you will receive a competitive salary of 1400$ per month. You will also have access to employee discounts on hotel services.
