Pastry Chef - Experienced Baker in Randers, Denmark
We are hiring a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end bakery in the vibrant city of Randers, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, as well as a strong background in baking and pastry arts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, including cakes, cookies, pies, and breads
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to create eye-catching designs
- Develop new and creative pastry recipes that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Ensure all pastries are consistently produced to the highest quality standards
- Order necessary ingredients and supplies to maintain inventory levels
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker, with at least 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Expertise in creating both traditional and modern pastries using various techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while also being able to improvise when necessary
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail when it comes to presentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
