IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, your main responsibility will be to provide technical support and assistance to our clients and employees. This will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining network systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues before they arise.

To excel in this role, you should have strong technical knowledge of computer systems and networks, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You should also have excellent communication skills to effectively assist clients and communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients and employees via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Set up new equipment and install necessary software
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues
- Maintain network systems and ensure all equipment is functioning properly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Solid understanding of computer systems and networks
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certification in relevant IT support areas (e.g. A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional)
- Experience with remote desktop support tools
