Database Administrator

A reputable company in Ashdod is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our company's database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management and be able to troubleshoot complex issues. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth operation of databases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other relational databases
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, and backup/recovery strategies
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Database Administration (e.g. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator)
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python)
