Carpenter for Residential Construction - Shan, Malaysia


We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Shan, Malaysia. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work on residential construction projects and must have a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carpentry and be able to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately. Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, plywood, and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and requirements
- Install structures such as windows, doors, staircases, cabinets, shelves etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting wood structures
- Follow safety protocols and building codes at all times
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Collaborate with contractors, electricians, plumbers etc. on construction projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Good physical stamina to handle manual labor
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Own basic carpentry tools
- Positive attitude towards learning new skills

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Shan (must be willing to relocate if not currently living in Shan)
