Junior Information Security Analyst


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe-Islands. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will work closely with our senior analysts to protect our company's information and systems from cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring network activity, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and creating strategies to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious incidents
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular security audits
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Assist in incident response efforts

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience as an Information Security Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns or anomalies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud security solutions

Salary: 1200$ per month (with accommodation provided)
