A renowned hotel in Nizwa is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious desserts, pastries, and breads for our guests. You must have a passion for pastry making and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing inventory, training and supervising junior pastry chefs, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry making, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure. Salary: $1300 per month

City: Nizwa

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef
- Certificate or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field
- Creative with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience in managing inventory and food cost control
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality desserts, pastries, and breads according to recipes and hotel standards
- Ensure timely production of all pastry items
- Maintain inventory levels by ordering ingredients and supplies as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Monitor quality control standards to ensure consistency
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to create new menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
