English-Speaking Moderator

As an English-speaking moderator, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and respectful online environment for our international community. You will monitor and moderate user-generated content, such as comments, posts, and messages, to ensure they comply with our community guidelines and standards. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, as you will be interacting with users from various backgrounds and cultures. You must also have a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content to ensure it meets our community guidelines
- Respond to user inquiries and escalate any issues to the appropriate team member
- Collaborate with other moderators to maintain a consistent approach in enforcing guidelines
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in online moderation
- Provide timely reports on user activity and flag any potential issues
- Use discretion when handling sensitive or controversial topics
- Assist with developing and updating community guidelines as needed

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Previous experience in online moderation or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their features
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations with diplomacy
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively

Salary: $1500 per month

City: Kaunas, Lithuania
