Our 5-star hotel in Lisbon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative menus that reflect the local culture and seasonal ingredients
- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budget goals
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and catering functions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Experience managing a large culinary team with strong leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
