Junior Back-End Developer

As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining the back-end functionality of our website and applications. You will work closely with the front-end development team to ensure a seamless user experience and efficient data transfer between the server and client sides. Your main focus will be on writing clean, efficient code using languages such as Java, Python, or PHP. This is a full-time position based in Kolding.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
- Design and implement data storage solutions
- Write well-designed, efficient code that meets coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize website and application performance for scalability
- Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate new technologies into our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficient in at least one back-end programming language (e.g. Java, Python, PHP)
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Node.js or Django is a plus
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
