Back-End Developer - Lisbon, Portugal


As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for the server-side of web applications and work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining the core logic, data structures, and algorithms of our applications. You will also be involved in designing and implementing efficient and secure APIs for communication with front-end components.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java or C#, as well as experience with database management systems. A biometric passport is required for travel within the European Union.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Design and implement efficient APIs for communication with front-end components
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues on the back-end
- Ensure data security and protection by implementing appropriate security measures
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- In-depth understanding of server-side languages such as Java or C#
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Biometric passport for travel within the European Union

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, based on qualifications and experience.

Location:
This position is located in Lisbon, Portugal. However, remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location.
