Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our restaurant team in Triesen, Liechtenstein. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality menus, managing food and labor costs, and ensuring the overall success of our culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design new menus that cater to the tastes and preferences of our guests
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure profitability
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain a sanitary and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, menu planning, and food presentation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this contract position. Accommodation is not provided but assistance can be given in finding suitable housing. This job is open to candidates from Nepal or Kenya who have at least a 12th-grade education. English language skills are preferred but not required.
