Turner for a Manufacturing Company in Washington

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our manufacturing company located in Washington. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to shape and finish metal workpieces according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications
- Measure and inspect finished workpieces to ensure accuracy
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired results
- Replace worn tools and perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Technical knowledge of various machine tools and their functions
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Trade certification in machining
- Familiarity with CNC machinery

Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
