Temporary Executive Chef in Kolding
We are currently seeking a talented and driven Executive Chef to join our team in Kolding on a temporary basis. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, delicious dishes. This position requires someone with a passion for cooking and creativity to develop unique menus and dishes that will impress our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create new menus and dishes while keeping up with food trends
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and apprentices
- Train new employees on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and kitchen equipment operation
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Control food costs by ordering appropriate amounts of ingredients and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with management to create special event menus or promotions
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role (temporary experience is acceptable)
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity in developing unique dishes while keeping up with food trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Strong communication skills to effectively train employees and collaborate with management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Salary: 1000$ per week (negotiable based on experience)
