Temporary Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team on a temporary basis in Horsens. As a Temporary Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations and overseeing the preparation of high-quality meals. This is a great opportunity for someone without experience who is looking to gain valuable skills and experience in the culinary industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that align with our clients' preferences and dietary requirements
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality meals are served
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen supplies to maintain budget goals
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to food safety standards
- Collaborate with event planners or clients to create customized menus for special events or occasions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes
Salary: $1100 per week (based on 40 hours/week)
Location: Horsens (temporary position)
