Facade Engineer
As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building facades in Monte-Carlo. Your role will involve working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that the facades are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You should have a strong understanding of building materials and structures, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and creating technical drawings for building facades
- Conducting structural analysis of facades using software programs
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials for each project
- Collaborating with architects to ensure that facade design fits with overall building design
- Communicating with contractors to ensure proper installation of facade components
- Conducting on-site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Providing technical support and guidance throughout the construction process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facade design or construction
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g. ETABS, SAP2000)
- Excellent understanding of building materials and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferences:
While not required, the following preferences would be considered an asset:
- Experience working in Monte-Carlo or other international locations
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Fluency in French
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Note: Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates, along with accommodation if needed. This is also a suitable position for freshers who meet the above requirements.
